Your higher GI tract involves your mouth, back of the throat, esophagus, tummy, and initially component of your tiny intestine. The test works by using a unique style of x-ray called fluoroscopy. Fluoroscopy displays internal organs going in true time. The test also requires ingesting a chalky-tasting liquid that is made up of barium. Barium is a compound that makes elements of your physique exhibit up more obviously on an x-ray.
