Kool-Assist Tropical Punch Combination Recalled
Nov. 16, 2021
Kraft Heinz is recalling eighty two.5-ounce containers of Kool-Assist Tropical Punch combination simply because the flavored powder might have compact parts of steel or glass.
Some of the Kool-Assist mix was sold at Costco. A letter from Kraft Heinz to Costco said these containers of the combination with ideal-when-employed-by dates of Aug. 31, 2023, and Sept. 1, 2023, are being recalled simply because of “the opportunity existence of foreign materials, specially extremely compact parts of steel or glass.”
The Kool-Assist can be returned to Costco for a refund.
The steel and glass might have been released during the manufacturing procedure, said a Nov. eleven letter to clients from Statler Bros. Markets, a West Coast grocery chain. The Kool-Assist combination sold by Statler Bros. has a nine-1-2023 day.
“The organization learned the difficulty during an inside overview at the producing facility,” the letter said. “There have been no buyer issues and no reports of illness or personal injury similar to this difficulty to day.”
The ideal-when-employed-by dates can be discovered on the bottom of the packages. Consumers can call Kraft Heinz with queries at (855) 713-9237.
