Spring Time Change Tied to More Fatal Car Crashes

THURSDAY, Jan. thirty, 2020 (HealthDay News) — Turning the clocks ahead a single hour in the spring and losing an hour of slumber boosts the chance of lethal auto crashes, new study shows.

For the study, the scientists analyzed information on almost 733,000 lethal auto crashes that occurred between 1996 and 2017 in states that make the spring change to Daylight Saving Time (DST).
